Andrew, I should be fine mate but thanks for the offer.

Brad, That sounds good. I wanna make it so I can take this rifle bush if I need to (current 308 not behaving, etc) so the LRMOA reticle should be good. Wish it did have 1/8 MOA clicks but.

What happened to Oatsy's NXS?

He has been getting odd shots for a few weeks now and watching him second guess himself has been painful, often funny and im sure pretty stressful for him at times. At the end of the first day at yarloop he said he was down and out after dropping a heap of points. He borrowed another scope (weaver) the following day and stopped dropping points and started to make up positions apparently.

Stories like that make you want to travel with spare scopes, spare barrels, spare ammo, spare shooter, spare wind coach...

Ohh ok. That really sucks.

Once I have my Omark done, If I goto an OPM, I may take two rifles just in case something happens.

Quick,

I shot the WARA Queens in 2010, and on the last day at the 900, the easterly wind stopped and the Fremantle doctor came in from the west. For those who were shooting at the time, scores were not pretty (I had finished 900 and was back at my tent 8) ). I was told by some locals that this was the dreaded "switchover".

I really enjoyed the drive over the Nullarbor, and the event, but it will be a year or three before I muster up the energy to get over there again.

Alan :)

Wow I havent even got off my butt and entered yet. Great to see. Had to do some impromptu load development development today which was hard work in the conditions. Hopefully by next weekend I will have something to bring to the table at swanbourne.

This year WARA are only running 3 yardages a day 300, 400, 500 on saturday, 600, 700, 800 sunday and 900 and 1000 monday. Instead of split yardages from one mound.

Alan, even though Im from WA I have only shot swanbourne twice. On the first we only had 2 minutes on for wind and the second occasion it was so windy I had to wind a full 1/2 minute on for windage. I still await the day I get educated by the switch.

On another positive note, I convinced the SWDRA today to include FO in the easter prize shoot next year in Capel- just need half a dozen entries.

Hi Shaun

There are four entries in with WARA currently, hopefully we get another one in soon.

1000 yards could be intersting to say the least if this wind keeps gusting like it is at the moment :-) Shouldn't complain though, makes for a another learning experience!

Yep, got some more 139's and 2213sc yesterday and now prepping away here. Looking forward to catching up with everyone again!

best regards

Hi Shaun

Could be that not all forms are in yet? I thought we were going to make the 5 based on this thread but I was told today 4 confirmed entries are in so far.

best regards

Mark

Mine is yet to go in- was supposed to get to it today but only got as far as filling in the form and leaving it on my desk.

So that will make 5 of us.

Hope your 6.5 is working. Can let any of these bloody 308's beat us

G'day Brad

The other week I carefully filled out my entry and promptly drove off to the range without it  so I know what you mean.

I think my 6.5 shoots OK, problem is the nut behind the bolt is lacking in practice so no gaurantees against 308's :-) Will be an enjoyable shoot anyway.

best regards

Mark
