Hi Bartman
We solved the closer to the target issue ages ago, we all use 34' barrels and 6.5 140g Berger's out of necked up .223 AI's, that Trail Boss powder just punches them right out there.
Graham
P.S. NSW would like it's oranges chilled when you do your run, thanks

Hi Graham,
I hope you have your shots up to date. You never know what's in the juice, and Dysentery can be a bitch
You should read my previous post about 140gn Bergers. I think you should give them a miss
Cheers.

If that's the case, and I show up, I won't be shooting the teams... so I'll do my bit, and look after the oranges.
Tough call, but I'll help out where I can.

Brilliant idea Linda.
After all we're in North Queensland. Sipping drinks under the shade of a Coconut tree could be a worthwhile pursuit.
Is it the silly season up there yet, or do we have to wait a few months?

I'm not ashamed to say it is "ALWAYS" the silly season up here.

bart,
our team will be using the old orange box hunting thin jackets.
they have proven accurate, and give 50 fps higher speed than current target bergers for similar pressure.
same load gives less speed, but +0.5 gn is just right.
keep safe,
bruce.

Hey Guy's
There will be an abundance of QLD rum

in the NSW compound for all teams, just bring your own coke, my boy's will be tea total for the duration,
just so we won't spill much while pouring liberal doses for other team's.

We can enter a team Shaun, but first we need the nominations.
The call went out several times, and not enough responded.

The main trouble is everyone needs to be able and willing to travel the distance. Ive gone over east for fishing tournaments before and the cost of getting there, hiring a car, accommodation etc is expensive and time consuming enough plus all the hassles about getting guns and ammo out of and back into WA would be the pits.
Thumbs up to those who can and do make the effort and that goes to eastern states shooters who come over here. If only we could tax deduct the trip
