I am looking for PM's running after the State teams competition in Mackay.

I need somewhere for our AU F Class team to meet. Now this could be on the range at Belmont, or we could support a club the is supporting F/TR and F Open and boost their competition numbers.

Linda, who are the members of the AU FC team? Does the FC team you refer to comprise only F T/R shooters?

It would be nice if you could provide a little info on this for all Oz shooters to understand what your AU team is about. How many shooters showed interest in contributing to or being a part of this team. I am genuinely interested to know how Australia puts together FC teams to represent our country. Reading the USA websites I know who has been nominated for their initial team listing and have even seen a combined team photo. I know nothing about the AU FC team and would really appreciate you providing a little info, thanks!

Update: I just had a look at the NRAA website hoping I might find some info there, I discovered you are the Captain, (congrats!) for both FO and F T/R. No mention of who the team members will be but a notice to say you would be announcing the teams soon. No time like the present to fill us all in on what the plans for the team are!

Hi Ian,

The team will be made public after the next NRAA meeting in May. This is where we will get the final stamp of approval. Nominations are still open, which is why I cannot announce the team yet. The USA and South Africa start their team selections longggg before we do, which is why they already have announced their teams.

I am working as fast as I can.

F Open competitions can be found on the East coast, but as F/TR is not yet recognised by the NRAA, these are the competitions I am looking for. Our team needs to be able to shoot and complete within their chosen discipline. Ammo and equipment testing under the pressures of competition will play a large part in getting this team up, running, and performing as the best team Australia has to offer.
