Those F Open shooters that are attending, provided we can get a few (at least 2)4 person teams together we have the chance to shoot the teams match on the afternoon of the first day of the Queens alongside TR and FS.
If you're interested could you please let me know so we have some idea before the day.
Thanks
Matt P

Matt,

Victoria will have a 4 person Team. Just a warning for any other States who fancy their chances, we won't be taking prisoners....

Hi Alan

Rom Hatton was talking about coming over to the Canbera Queens and bringing his 280 Ackley.
Should be a fun time.

Cheers
Paul

if you team guys could agree to to shoot out of 50.10, it would be interesting to see how you would go head to head with fullbore teams, considering that our target has proven to have a slightly higher degree of difficulty than fullbore's does for them.

It seems the 50.10 brigade is more interested in looking at scores than coming to shoots! Bruce, Paul - you should be there!

alan,
i went to canberra before there was the champ target. that is a while back now.
current curcumstances don't always permit you to do what you want to do.
you've got to admit though, there would be a lot to be gained trialling a team shoot in the same pool as fullbore.
insufficient fopen shooters could go in fullbore teams using the super v 50.10.

Yes I see what you're getting at Bruce - the MCSI calculates that equivalent scores for TR and F-Open would be similar in merit (although as the ranges get longer F-Open would find it harder to keep pace). I would doubt that the mixed team thing will happen - the Tiverton Cup is on the Thursday, and I think the F-Open teams are being proposed for the Friday.

To All
I made a mistake on the dates for the team shoot, it will be held along side TR and FS when the Tiverton Cup is held, for some reason I thought it was held on the first day of the Queens, I think it's on the last day of the lead up, thursday the 19th. Can anyone confirm when the Tiverton Cup is on ???
