Hi All
(Or maybe just Matt)
After having a conversation this morning about the Queen’s I’m wondering if there is any chance of allowing the use of gazebos to shoot under?
Most likely be very hot there in January.
I’d suggest we could bring our own or club ones and each target is responsible for put up/down and moving??
Possibly the marking board trailer could do a couple of trips?
4 decent pegs and ropes per cover
I have a 6x3m
What is the width of the mound area per target?

Just to cater for the abominable NO men - If you don’t want a cover you don’t have to have one :D

Tim, i like the idea of the Gazebos as it will likely be hot.
Rules are as far as i am aware, you cant have personal shelters, so it has to be all in even for everyone, or nothing provided. Up to NSWRA.
The other limit is, from previous years, the wind WILL pick up as soon as you say "Queens", and maybe we will need Rods dump truck to tie the shelters on to..... otherwise they will end up in the water.

Why not get Rod to tip the dump truck on its back and shoot from under the tub?? Problem solved.

Tim,
I'm no longer on the Board (I'm just helping out for this one event), but I'll ask the question.
Putting on my shooters hat, I'd say great idea all for it. But putting my organizer hat on, if a group of people are willing to set up and pack up and I don't have to worry about it then yes, otherwise probably not.
Anyway I'll ask and we'll see how we go.

Remember that Rod works at a mine so has access to machines that can flatten just about anything :D .

Bugger the machines, just bring the dynamite :D

Hi,
I have registered for the 144th Championships. I have asked questions regarding Hunter Class Rules, yet to receive an answer, and if multiple discipline entries are allowed, still waiting. Can you help?

Under the SSRs. You CANNOT enter multiple disciplines in a Prize Meeting competition.

Thanks for putting up the link, I couldn’t find the form anywhere else.
Entry form now in and paid for.
Only thing left to do is get my new gun tuned up-plenty of time
See you there

I believe the 6.5kg weight limit will be waived for this event to encourage people to enter.
