Yep I’ve had 2 broken belts in under 2 years , although very cheap to replace , the belt drive slips and struggles with ADI powders for some reason and I regularly dry brush moly powder on the tube at the bronze bushes for lube , overall best powder dispensing system to date

Well it looks good! In fact it looks very good! Simple to use and does exactly what it should top Marks to Adam!

I'm a bit greedy, got the update from V2 to V3 and seeing l had another A&D 300i l have ordered a complete new V3 for it. Very happy with the auto trickler setup.

I still waiting for mine to arrive, I bought my A&D scale in Oz so it came with the 243 power supply adapter.
Adam reckons you need the higher power one that usually ships with a scale from the US, or get his electronics modified so it works with an external PSU.
I was wondering if someone here has it working with the Oz 243 adapter without problems or not.
Cheers

The power cable on the A&D scale is thin and light. Adam when sends you the setup includes a heavier power lead ( to handle extra voltage to run the trickler and thrower as well as the scales) that just needs a conversion from Canadian to Australian 3 pi plug.

It's just a cheap 2A 12 volt supply, the only thing to watch is that the centre is negative and the outer is positive unlike almost any other equipment!

The V3 model has a timing belt on the thrower and Oring on the trickler which allows you without much effort to spin the orgar by hand to drop another kernel or two.

Thanks, I didn't measure polarity yet on the original PSU but thanks for the tip.
I might have overlooked that in my excitement when the autotrickler finally arrives hehehe.
I probably have a 2 or 3 amp PSU lying around and will solder the right connector on it before the auto trickle arrives.
I already have the area 419 kit in and bought the scale at the scale shop in Perth.
Can't wait....

Finally received the V3 from Adam, it actually came with an 2amp psu, unfortunately with a USA plug but it was easy to bend the contacts 45 degrees with a plier so it would fit here in Oz.fine tuning was done quickly and it works as advertised. drops a charge within 10 seconds.99% of the time within + or - 0.02 GN or 1 kernel of 2209. probably after some more finetuning this could be improved.I highly recommend this unit.only took 5 days to get here after receiving shipping confirmation.

They work from 100 to 240 as do almost all modern switching power supplies.

I have used a lot of O rings and always had some on hand or left over so used them in my own projects with varied success. Some types of O rings last well, others are a disaster. Under any tension most develop micro cracks early and then break. Depends on the material and how long they have been on the shelf. They usually last longer as belts if they are taken off when not in use.
One disadvantage of O rings for belts is that they are usually too elastic and the revs surge under load.
