sa open has the best balance of Xs and 6s.
as they surge ahead tomorrow in the 15 shotter, they might not need the high x count, but it is there to fall back on.
without doubt the X count suggests better vert at 1000 than the vics will get.
and I will bet they also have the highest standard of gun pimping on the range.
keep safe,
bruce.

Bruce , as they get back the flyers will be huge , the coaches will be confused , the x count will be useless, 8) the VICs nice round groups will do it 8) like Alan said they are coaches from VIC , :D Chop

Alan, I did hear Rosedale mentioned and coaching, good team work.

Bruce, I could be wrong but I have heard the first 1000 yrd shoot is a 10 shotter and part of todays match. The second 1000 is a separate 15 shot match, however, I stand to be corrected.

Anyway, f open still have to shoot 900 yards. It was too rough for them today, so they are shooting early tomorrow morning, when it is nice and calm.

Tony, good to meet you today, even if only briefly. You have done a good job keeping everyone upto date.

As you said we need others to keep results flowing over the lead up and the queens. More info the better.

Except for the North Queenslanders, who are 6 in FRONT :D

No exception there Tony - He did say no one is close - in front by that much isn't close at all :D

Looks great heading in to tomorrow nothing in it and I agree with Bruce - watch those extra x's turn into extra 6's at 1000!!!!

More to the point those teams that are obviously just holding the 6 ring (with low x counts) at 600 are going to be just holding 5 ring at 1000 and their coaches will be too busy worrying about centering the group to watch the wind. Game over.......

Hi All,
This is my first team shoot, great fun and if you get the chance to go for it!
Campbell Town has been interesting to say the least, just to give you an idea of conditions one of the tents was flattened today in the wind, just glad it wasn't mine:)
I'm not looking forward to making my own wind calls later on.
I flew down for this one so had to take the minimum gear.
So I'm now settling in for night 3 in my $49 tent and wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
