Just thought I should let you all know BRUCE MOULD won the above match today , swept all before him, just goes to show the evil black and baccy sometimes is a good combination , I might have to take up smoking again!! Well done Bruce a good day was had by all.

your unexpected post here causes me to comment.
the first observation is that years shooting fclass off a rest obviously hones offhand skills to a sharp edge.
secondly, the degradation endured shooting at lower light range is a serious aid in producing the kind of expectations required for shooting offhand.
I put my success down to 2 things.
one is the self compensating feature of a gaintwist barrel. wherever you wobble, it just keeps delivering.
the other is that all the women who flock to lower light thought I would be there as usual, thus avoiding the distractions normally requiring blotting out during shooting.
it was a pleasure to shoot without one catfight in the vicinity.
what does offhand have in common with fclass? don't shoot until a perfect sight picture presents.
the admission that my poor old body is a bit stiff this morning says that a bit of muscle training would not hurt if this offhand thing is to happen more often.
