Lets get the news out

Post by ecomeat »

I just sent a message to Ben Fordham (Channel 9 Sports news commentator) vis his 2GB web page in Sydney....suggested he get Ch 9's Stevie Jacobs down to Raton etc.
Realistically thats highly unlikely to happen..........but :
Lets bombard the media all over Australia with reports of "the news"....TV, Radio, capital city newspapers etc etc. We need to do it NOW while the news it hot.
It doesnt matter one iota if they all get multiple reports of the same "news"....in fact that would probably work better.
Does anyone have TV , Newspaper, Radio etc emails that they can share ?
Tony

Yep its true, we did it, and I have a gold medal in my hand to prove it. Magnificent team effort, and brilliant coaching to beat the Americans with extensive experience at this range. There'll be more from me when I next get a decent internet connection. There'll be a get-together tonight so I'll pass on all of your congratulations.

The scores are now posted up here: http://www.baldeaglesrc.org/Default.aspx?pageId=1673198

I now know that our F T/R team finished fourth!!!!! Very well done team!

What an incredible effort by our F T/R team when you consider the NRAA have not as yet included it in our SSRs!

Lets get behind F T/R and get it included in our national competitions and recognised by the NRAA as another discipline in our rule book.

Brilliant job by the F T/R team and a conquering F-Open team, it doesn't get much better than this.

Ian

PS. Well done Linda for all the work you have done to make the World Championships available to an Australian team!

G'day all,
fantastic effort by the whole team.

In a word AWESOME!

I think the last time I heard news this good was when the Australian BR team beat the Yanks at the World Championships in South Africa a few years ago.....

Hopefully a new trend in world shooting that the rest of the world has a hope of besting the Americans in shooting?

Another word strings to mind too BRILLIANT!

Well done to all the shooters and especially the support crew.

Top effort guys and gals!

I watched the interview below with Shiraz Balolia after Day 1 and it wasn't just the other team throwing stiff competition at the Aussies. The way the wind is gusting in the background, I'm surprised his chin strap managed to hold his hat on!!!

Preparation must have been spot on over the last 2 years with conditions like those magnifying faults very quickly.

Wishing everyone a safe return and lots to share when you get back.
