What is the best saum brass ?

Post by macguru »

I am trying to get back into shooting my no turn neck SAUM FO but I find the Norma brass pretty inconsistent .....I get a few sticky ones, ok, its probably bad preparation on my part but is there a standout best brand ??

Out of the available brands, Norma is actually the better of them IMO.

Most of the shooters were in the upper end of F-Open are using Norma.

Some use Nosler, it’s extremely expensive and not much better out of the box.

Norma mate. The 7mm SAUM brass has less spring back than the necked down 300 SAUM. Skim the outside of the neck, mandrel the inside and your good to go.
