I'm going. I stay on the range so I cannot recommend a motel.
Looking forward to seeing you there. :D

It's looking like I'll be camping at the range Phill, see you there. Looks like we might be the only 2 F-open shooters! Bahahaha.

Hi Denis

Depends what you're looking for as to somewhere to stay. The closest motels are either Childers or BBG. The range is about right in the middle.

Let me know if you are still chasing something and I will help you out.

Should be a good shoot. We have 3 or 4 F Open shooters in the club so will be more than only 2 of you.

Will be a good shoot and the range looks a treat at the minute.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

Cheers

Denis,
I stayed at the following Motel last year, in a 4 Star room, and it was very very comfortable. I would have no trouble in recommending it.
It is on the left, as you go straight in to town , and is pretty close to everything you would need.

I hope for your sake that Maurie and Di Irwin are still involved with the catering. Their hospitality last year was simply bloody amazing....almost as good as the food that they cooked.
I cant make it this year, unfortunately due to this property being sold, but it was one of the most fun, professionally run OPMs that I have ever been to.
Their CRO , Greg Gaertner, got some practise in with how to handle reprobates last weekend in Townsville, so i reckon he can handle anything you throw at him !
Extreme accuracy and precision shooting at long range can be a very addictive pastime.

TONY YOU BLOODY LEGEND!!! I could slap a big fat sloppy kiss on you.

We couldn't really find anything from the tourism sites that we were on that were the right price or let us all in one room. The wife and kids were going to give it a miss then and I was going to camp by myself. Now we're back on track and staying at Charm City.

Apparently its only 7 minutes from the range, time not drop.

Thanks Tony I really, really appreciate you piping up.

Bahaha..... very happy now. I'll be asking you guys the same question for the 23rd of November

I've been likened to a frog when I shoot, I hope he doesn't get his hopes up......... there won't be any tongue!

Cheers.

Definitely no kissing
Last year the Bindaberg show was on, and you drive past the Showground to get in to town. There was a strong Police presence [-X
Drive carefully !
