Hi all, I've been accumulating bits for an Omark 6x47L....got action, brass and Wilson dies. I need to get a neck sizing bushing but am wondering if it's OK to size down to 6mm in one step, or should it be done a bit more gently ?
I'm thinking of having a "no turn" chamber but I have a neck turning tool so can go either way..
I neck down in one go with a 6BR F/L die (not bushing type).
If you are going to use a no turn chamber minimun will be 0.271 neck, Ive found 0.268 bush works well.
If you have a Redding 6br body die, run the case necks into this first. The relieved neck section of this die will take the 6.5 neck down a little, then into 6x47l neck die. Made it easier for me.
