Recognition

Introduced in 2019, this class is defined in Chapter 23 of the SSRs. It offers shooters with factory sporting rifles the opportunity of participating at NRAA ranges alongside TR and F-Class.

Recognition

Post by Potshot2023 »

is there enough data available to include Sporter in the MCSI tables? It’s the fastest growing discipline in our sport and demands recognition.
Any evidence to support the inclusion of what is a legitimate discipline (SSRs) in our S&T Kings would be helpful, and perhaps dissuade the conservative and reactionary elements within the NRAA from their current anti-inclusive decisions at national level.

It may take a while to get that data. PC has a huge spread in scores. Good shooters regularly shoot 50s with lots, while some struggle to keep them in the black. If we were to take the average score (which is what mcsi does) a good PC shooter would be unbeatable. This often happens with FStd at the moment. Their scores give them points over an FTR shooter, despite top std scores beating top FTR scores in most Queens/Kings.
