Soild material .. No Way .. well it will be ok as long as that piece of ply is not bolted to the underside of the forend when not in use .. :P

FS of course 8)

I have a 30mm flat bag aslo .. dont like it much, i prefer a cut down garden kneeling pad (20mm hard foam) $2.50 each

Ok, I'll start "proposed poll" topics for (1) allowed objects under rear sandbag, (2) spikes on front rests, (3) relaxed time limits, and (4) portable benchrests.

These will be in the "Rules & the Future..." forum.

Poll proposals are now posted - decided to forget about front rest spikes because I can't find anything preventing their use.

Matt ... I was not starting anything, i was being silly.

Also, i have to say that the SSR's say 2 sandbags. To me a sand bag is a sand bag, we all know what one looks like in the stores.

They do not contain bonded timber blocks to the base of them. So, mate, i must dissagre as i read the SSR's with solid clarity in regard to what a sand bag is.

If you look at what the stores have in STOCK you will see there are thin ones, fat ones and even STOCKy ones ... but alas, no wooden blocks.

I dont mean to take STOCK on this issue .. but as stated .. the rule is clear to me. 8) :P

I do agree it needs to be changed to allow other types of packing material under the main bag
