NRAA Queens

Post by jasmay »

Well after the NQ queens and much banter the rumor milk started grinding the likely attendees for the NRAA queens and what discipline they will shoot.

Myself and Mark Fairbairn are both deciding between FTR and FOpen!

So, tell us your plans, would be great to get a solid presence in Fclass!!

I am close by and it IS my "home-ground" but I was thinking of fullbore for McIntosh as a Tyro and trying to decide between FB and FTR for the actual Queens.

I've entered for FS B as my new rifle pimped for FTR isn't suitably tuned yet. Hope to meet all of you there.

Hi Jason
If I can get a new barrel on my rifle and a load tuned Vicki and I will be there!
Spoke with Mark this morning and with some generous help from him it will work out for us.
Bit of a task as I have a new Krieger but not threaded or chambered.
So need that done and loads developed and be there while it is still settling in?
I have usually seen them take up to 300 rounds to stabilise sometimes?
I would really like to attend and give me a chance to defend the initial NRAA F/TR title!
I hope it can all work out - will know within the week!
Good to see you both at Townsville! It was a very friendly shoot!

Careful. If there are complaints about the noise being a distraction, I might have to take steps.

If wearing my bells is considered a distraction, perhaps I should also bring my kilt, commando style, I am pretty sure the bells will cease to be an issue :D

I am not going to be able to get there to shoot, unfortunately.
We have to pack up and be out of here by 28th June, due to this property we have lived on and managed for over 8 years being sold.
That last fortnight will be pretty full on, packing up, trucking out cattle and machinery etc so I am out.

Extreme accuracy and precision shooting at long range can be a very addictive pastime.
