Post by Brad Y »

In the process of making a new mat. Can anyone make any suggestions on design/dimensions/features etc?

I would ask Alan Fraser.
He has a magic carpet for a shooting mat.

Seem to work on day two of the individual FCWC.

F class.

Yes I should ask Alan if he can spare some magic carpet.

I want something like alot of fullbore shooting mats that you can fold up and put a rest, ammo box, rear bag in the middle and hold the rifle in the other hand. Im building it so there is a cutout for the front rest and rear bag too.

I bought one from the WARA shop that has a cut out in it for F class with zipps and handles.

Norm,

Fortunately we didn't get any rain. There was about a cm of dust on the mounds. I reckon rain would have sucked that up into the axeminster, and no vacuum cleaner would have coped  . I'm bringing it back home of course.

Hi Alan. Firstly congratulations to you and the team on the win. We spent many hours on the internet watching the progress of both teams as they competed in Raton. Secondly make sure your carpet is free of dirt and any seeds before you head for home as AQIS do NOT like any of that sort of stuff coming in to Aus. Safe travels to all, certainly looking forward to catching up with some of the guys for a chat when you all get home. Regards Lynton W.
