barrel adaptors causing flyers ?.
hi , i was speaking to a guy yestereday & he stated that he had owned a omark for several years & was getting odd flyers which where caused by the use of a adaptor in his omark ? . could this be possable ?. i just shot a score of 98 out of 100 yesterday in f-open @ 600 yards using my omark which has a adaptor fitted . any body got any thoughts on this one !. my only concern is im about to build another omark using adaptor but in 308 this time for f-standard use .

I've lost count of how many Omarks we have and many of them have adaptors, including the one that Trev shot a double possible with yesterday on the ICFRA target at 500 yd. We have had absolutely no problems with Omarks with adaptors, I would tend to look at ammo (condition of cases etc) and how clean the barrel truly is before I would start blaming the adaptor.
That said, there is always the possibility that an individual piece of equipment may have a problem that is not apparent in the equipment as a whole. Just because one Holden Commodore has a bad engine doesn't mean that all Commodores are bad, the same applies to anything of a mechanical nature.
