Production Class Open (PCO)

Introduced in 2019, this class is defined in Chapter 23 of the SSRs. It offers shooters with factory sporting rifles the opportunity of participating at NRAA ranges alongside TR and F-Class.

Production Class Open (PCO)

Post by mcourtin »

I noticed that there are a number of clubs running prize shoots that are including only Production Class (PC) for Sporter and not including Production Class Open (PCO).

Is this being done deliberately to push shooters who rebarrel their rifles into F-Class?

I would not read too much into it at this stage, I don't think there are the numbers yet to offer both PC and PCO , but there soon will be.

I also note that NSWRA are offering both PC and PCO at the Kings in a couple of weeks. I think closing is today. I have entered PC with my factory Tikka.

Wouldn’t stress , clubs can include or exclude classes as desired , sometimes hard to gauge popularity and sponsorship of prizes .
