SAT-SUN KATOOMBA RIFLE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP - INAUGURAL PHOENIX TROPHY
The KRC’s home range at Leura for nearly 90 years was closed due to concerns of range compliance current
military guidelines. The KRC challenged this thanks to several incredible internationally renowned range design
experts, many dedicated members and generous supporters. After significant works on the range facility, the
implementation of mitigating controls and working with helpful governing bodies, the KRC were successful to
have the 91 year old range reopened after 4 years of no live centre rifle shooting. Like Phoenix rising from the
ashes, the KRC are continuing its long tradition of competitive target shooting and we hope many more OPMs.

I shot on the Sunday. Had a great time. A Well run event. Look forward to the upcoming OPM there in Sept.
I believe Results have been submitted to the NRAA , so just waiting for them to post them on website.

Here are the results that were sent out to those who attended.

It was a really well run and enjoyable shoot that did a great job of acknowleging the clubs history while looking towards the future. I’ll definitely make the effort to get back for the next one.

Chris
