Berger 180gn Hybrid 7mm projectiles. Prefer same batch if you have any to spare.

Wow, that's a bugger. My gun does not like VLDs so I might have to look at other bullets and tell Berger that their lack of supply is causing me to change camps.

Just found out from Berger that the next shipment is going to Qstore and BRT. The Q store is getting no 180 hybrids and get this BRT are only getting 3 boxes of 100!!!!!!
What a joke. I should go into bullets making myself as I could make a killing by just supplying the Aussie market.
Looks like I will be moving camps now on my projectiles

My gun does not like VLDs

Hey Peter/All,

My experience last weekend is that the VLD's do work, but clearly not as tight a group as the Hybrids.

A 60.6 (VLD) vs a 60.7 (Hybrid), however the groups were remarkedly different in size.

Back during the Nationals, the Q-Store had 100 boxes of VLD's in stock. So a reasonable backup until the Hybrids come back.

Otherwise CopperHeads may be a viable alternative, as they have an excellent reputation. I haven't gone there yet, due to long throating of my existing barrels.

I got a ripper node at 700 Yards with a ladder test but my 1000 Yard I had 2 just pop into the 5.
They need a bit more throat compared to most and have a nice long bearing surface so watch out for copper buildup.

I am going to do more tuning with them at 1000 so let's hope I can get them humming.

Pete, I imported mine, due to arrive in 10 days. B709A took 5 days and only a few $ extra than
Q-store charges.
