Barnes match burner 155 grain 30 cal projectiles
Wondering if anyone has used them in local f class and how they performed. I am currently using the pointed Optimus 155.5 grain and want to try something else as I am only seeing average accuracy from them despite trying many different loads and seating depths.

I don't see that one on the list of approved projectiles so it's FO or FTR only.

Don’t know about the 155 grainers but their 175 Match burners do alright if this is anything to go by.

If your looking for a replacement bullet to shoot F-Standard then I have seen very good results had with the Berger 155.5g bullets. Perhaps someone may chime in and give you the the good oil on getting the optimum performance out of your Optimus pills.

I know that is incorrect!
Just looking to try something different to see if it’s the projectile/load etc. or if I need to look at whether I should rebarrell. Looking at them they look like the old smk which is easy to tune a load for as opposed to the new smk, which can be a bitch (excuse the expletive.) not planning on shooting queens just want to compare current fodder with an alternative.

hbc's require a bit of work to get shooting good but when you find what works they shoot excellent.
best way to find is load 5 up at 10 thou jam, 15 thou jump, 40 thou jump, 80 thou jump, 120 thou jump. you will find groups that are vertical and horizontal split the distance in half and and load up 5 at that jump and the group will get tighter.
