I wood work it out myself normally but trying to save money , I have had all the stuff for 6 months so I think it's time to do it and I know there will be a lot of people who have shot an Omark for a long time that will be able to help

Hi Chris. There is no secret or special load. You're going to have to work up to you max first and figure out where you need to be after that. I would imagine you're going to be somewhere between 43.5gr and 45gr of powder. Also, I would get someone who knows what they are doing to take a look at that Omark and check it is up to speed. Good luck with your load development. Take your time and proceed with caution.

Also, do you know what barrel is on your omark? That will make a big difference, especially if its a 14 or 14 twist that may not stabilize the 185's.
Most omarks were set up to shoot the 144 gr military projectile from the 70's
Might be better sticking with HBC 155gr
