Boretech Chameleon Gel polish.

#1 Postby Steve N » Wed Mar 01, 2017 12:23 pm

Has anyone used this product to remove carbon fouling? If so how did it go compared to JB paste? Supposed to have a colour indicator like Eliminator to show what has been removed. Black carbon, blue copper, white nothing.
Just interested to see if anyone has had any success with it before I buy another cleaning product to add to the collection.

I brought some last year from NSWRA and it works as it says. Colour is discernable for the purpose of ID'ing what is in your bore. Can also clean when applied and left to sit for 10mins, patching out till all gel has been removed, I usually follow through with my normal cleaning procedure after that for good measure.

Thanks for the reply Bad and welcome to the forum. Sounds like it might be a good bore polish for anyone using the other Boretech products. It would be interesting to see how it goes removing carbon in the throat area.
