Lab scales

#1 Postby Kakaduthunder » Thu Oct 06, 2016 11:19 am

I use a sartorius lab scale. It will measure 1 kernel. I throw under with a manual thrower then trickle up. I really don't know if it makes a difference but I am kinda anal. The scales are so sensative you can't have a fan on and breathing in their direction changes the reading.

This sounds like more of an admission of OCD than a question, shooters anonymous is on another forum :lol:

Just kidding.

You're not anal, just a perfectionist, many of us use the exact method you describe.

However, if I was shooting PRS or short range silhouette or something similar, I wouldn't worry about this as much, remember shooting has to still be fun.

Whoops I though I was replying to an existing post. Does sound like a crazy admission.

There is a topic here;

which fits your post and could be considered answering an existing post. :?

You just decided to give the topic a new title. :)
My Lyman Gen 5 will also measure down to +/- a kernel but all sensor scales will react to airflow but you could try wearing a mask to remove any nagging or lingering doubts. :P
