Barnard P V's Barnard S model

#1 Postby Foxy » Mon Dec 18, 2006 1:29 am

Everyone I know who has a barnard (.308) has a P model.
I have ordered an S model (Rem 700 clone) does anyone here know how well they shoot?
Are they equal to the P Model?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

I had a Model S a couple of years back. These are good actions, quite similar to the Model P except for the tang area and the trigger setup. The advantage is you can use a Remington style trigger. With the hanger setup, removal of the trigger with a glued in action is a breeze. I used a Jewel trigger with mine and it worked fine.
The action won't shoot any better or worse than the others, there are too many other variables.
I sold my model S to fund another project..... I wish I still had it.
