A year or so back, the less patronized of our hardware businesses went belly up, selling out stock at up to 60% off.
On a whim, I picked up a wee 3.5 (3.6?) V screwdriver that I thought would be handy around the kitchen etc. Then, when I found the battery on my REAL cordless was flat, I tried cleaning primer pockets using the K & M uniformer as usual. Hell's teeth, the little slow, no grunt machine was far more effective than the high torque, quick 18V drill, giving a clean even finish every time.
Thinking about that, I bought a couple of power driver attachments for my Wilson case trimmer & last evening meplatted some bullets with my John Whidden tool. What an eye opener! Apart from avoiding the discomfort that comes with winding those puny little handles ad lib, being able to address the bullet point at an optimal speed & feed meant that I didn't jag into any of them with the mill - a 100% recovery!
Simple but effective
