6mm br groups

#1 Postby mitchellchandler_au » Sat Sep 16, 2006 5:56 pm

To day I finally got my rifle home to do some grouping. i put 5 of the 105 hornady A-MAX into .350 at 100 metres and the 29.5 went into 250 for the last 4 shots the first from the clean barrel threw it high to open it up to .600. Any help or advice from you blokes would be much appreciated.

thanks,
mitchell
Firepower usally means an increased number of misses per minute. 50 misses are not firepower. One hit is firepower

Be careful with A-max bullets they have a habit of the plastic tip causing problems like 4 in and 1 out. I would also suggest moving back to 300 to test sometimes it's very hard to tell which load works the best when it's always a small hole. Also try some Reloader 15 powder, start around 30gr and work up.
