223 specs

hi all

i'm intrested in trying f standard in 223, so i'm ordering a reamer for my gunsmith

to shoot the 70 & 80gr pills what freebore should i be ordering?

can i shoot a tight/fitted neck in f standard?

if not what is the current neck spec? i'm gessing .251" or .252"

Steve,
I am not a gunsmith,just a shooter,having gone through one barrel chambered on the neater side,after two others on the more generous side and owning a Ruger factory with a1-8 twist barrel,my preference is for more clearance,over minimum specs. It does help to use a gunsmith that is a shooter in the discipline you are following.

Give Keith Hill a call. He is doign my 223 a the moment and know quite a bit about them.
