My Next F-Open Build

#1 Postby IanP » Wed Nov 28, 2012 11:13 am

I have a video of my next F-Open build being test fired. I cannot share details of this wildcat as I want to keep the advantage all to myself.

Ian,

I'm not going marking when it's your turn to shoot.

As for going away shooting, have you thought about the logistics of getting your rifle to the mound? You might not fit it in the back of a ute.

Cheers

Ian Im sorry to say your going to be at a horrible disadvantage. The last few shots on that movie I can see the barrel moving around too much. I think the harmonics are out. Might have to look at adding a tuner

hate to break it to you, but the rear rest will be in contrevention of the rules. Will you be pointing the projectiles?

Ian,

Reckon your cost of powder and projies will bring you back to just one shot per week and definitely NO SIGHTERS !!

Ian,

I think you have received some good advice from your fellow forum members. Please consider them and the ENVIRONMENT, as you pursue this new toy (monster) of yours :D

After all if you get to use yours at a Queens, then we'll all be rocking up with one each. Think about the car park and how full it will get.

It would certainly give us heaps of scope for Pimping though.

Cheers.

First of all, Pest Bird will Ackley Improve it.

Then probably shoot it free recoil.

You know me all too well.
I have the Ackley Improved reamer being ground as we speak.
But mine will be 8mm Hee Hee.
Lower Light has plenty of parking space, no worries about parking and there mound is big enough to stop the pills.
May be I could just compete from here in Isisford ? Or is there something in the rules about shooting across borders?
Cheers

I would go 325 WSM , its 8mm so range legal, supposedly great accuracy and will push a 200gr boatail at 3000 fps (ouch)

you just have to find a target projectile that works in your gun !
(sierra, nosler 200gr ....)
