Importing an action

To those who have done it, what is involved time, permit and rough dollar wise to import an action from USA. Are there any dealers here who keep some actions in stock or deal with them?

remington now owns the company that makes nesika, so they could probably be purchased through that source.
i know sara got one for someone that way.
