Dyer 155 HBC's jackets

#1 Postby Ackley Improved » Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:45 am

Guys

What sort of thickness are the 155 HBC's compared to Sierras etc? Thin, thick?

Curiousity has got me. What price are they running right now?

Cheers

Not exactly sure on the jacket thickness, but I have tried the Sierra 155gn (both 2155 & 2156 versions) and the Dyers HBC's in my Tikka, and have found the Dyers to be much more consistent and accurate in my rifle. Plus they are much cheaper as well, which is a bonus.

The current pricing for them is around $350 per 1000, but the shops will allow yuo buy as many as you want for the same unit price (i.e. works out at 35c each whether you buy 100 or 1000).
