Long range scope adjustments

OK guys help me out here.

This weekend I am booked to participate in my forst ever long distance target event, COF is from 700m down to 50m.

I'm trying to build a trajectory table to attach to the rifle setting out how many clicks of adjustment I need to make at each yardage.

Problem. My Leupold scope is 1/4 inch clicks @ 100m. I know the elevation in inches at each range, but how do I work out how many clicks I need to make at each distances to achieve the necessary elevation?

Obviosly it's not linear. 4 clicks at 100m is not the same as 4 clicks at 200m.

found it.

1.) Four clicks will move your bullet impact one MOA at any distance.

2.) One MOA equals: 1" at 100 yds, 2" at 200 yds, 3" at 300 yds, 4" at 400 yds

If your scope has good marked graduations it's worth recording which ones correspond to your zero's at each distance so that you don't get lost counting clicks.

Either print them off or export them to xls and modify to suit your needs
