Latest designs in FO stocks

#1 Postby Woody_rod » Sun May 01, 2011 8:57 pm

I am looking to obtain a couple of stocks for FO projects, I was wondering where I can buy some.

I have spent quite a few hours online searching: both on forums and via google etc, not much luck from an Australian perspective.

Where can I get a decent quality FO stock, but in carbon construction, not timber?

Well, after reading the Manners site again, I see that the AU distributor is Nightforce...

I will contact them and see what they have.

Rod,

I have 3 manners stocks. The first 2 were purchases direct and the 3rd through nightforce. I have the tactical model stocks and they are very nice. I can't comment on their target ones.

Why not support the Aussie stock makers? Ken McLachlan makes good aluminium stocks and Phil Mastin makes good Laminated ones. Aussie stocks to go with the Aussie actions.

Mate, I have tried and tried. I gave up some time ago....nobody answers emails or contacts as far as I have tried.

I will use any legitimate stock maker that can provide items in a sensible time frame, otherwise have to go with what I can get. We have specific requirements for design etc also, stock makers need to accommodate this.
