G'Day OZFClass readers,
I am attempting to make contact with clubs that are using Silver Mountain electronic target systems.
I am from Cootamundra Rifle Club and we have 4 x G2/8 mic targets plus an S7 server at the firing point.
We have had a flat panel antenna failure and are about to source directly, replacement antennas/spares from the manufacturer
in Poland.
This is a general enquiry as to whether other user clubs are interested in spares for flat panel wifi antennas.
If there are please contact me direct on PipJ55@bigpond.com or mobile.
Regards,
Phil Long

Re: Silver Mountain Target Users
Just curious why not deal directly with the Silver Mountain Rep here? Aubrey has been very helpful to me personally, my local club has a 3 Target S7 setup which I help with(or hinder) I also have a personal Solo, we've only had a couple of issues all together which he was happy to help with, Regards Rich

Rich,
Aubrey's responsiveness has been 'patchy'. I have had long phone 'consultations' when I took over managing the targets for Cootamundra but on the issue of spares and warranty he has been vague.
I am now being proactive and working on sourcing know good components that are not made by Silver Mountain but they have included to their systems.
What antennas are on your club's targets?
Thanks for the interest in the issue.
Phil

Not real sure, it'll be whatever came with them, we've had only power disruption's and impact damage so far, software and part replacement only, be interested to see how you get on, I'd imagine I'll eventually see the same issues

Good News!
There are warranty replacement microphones coming and 2 new flat panel antennas. (To be paid for on invoice)
The other spares are on order from Canada and should be in country soon.
Our thanks to interested parties for responses.
I will post photos of the failed items and replacements next week.

Re: Silver Mountain Target Users
Fitted the new 8 mics to our troublesome target but due to the end of year break, won't calibrate it until JAN/FEB.
The new Elboxrf flat panel antenna was also fitted to the target and that makes all 4 of Cootamundra's SMTs the same.
Have a spare thanks to a new shipment to Aubrey.
I hope to report that we have all 4 SMTs operating next February.
