Front bag rider

#1 Postby benculton » Mon Apr 29, 2019 11:09 pm

Hey All,

I have a bald eagle pedestal rest on the way. It's coming with a 3 inch front bag but my stock isn't that wide.

I've seen some people running what appears to be an attached bag rider to the fore end of their stock.

Where can I source one of these from? I have an accessory rail on the stock.

I use one of these on one of my older narrower stocked rifles. Works very well and comes with screws/t nuts for attaching to rail.

The BRT may be better though due to its higher sides.

Yes something like that. Wasn't sure what they'd be called. So didn't know where to start looking.

Thanks.

Bald Eagle also sell a 2.25” front bag if that is a closer match for your stock.

I didn't know that. I'll have to grab one. I now see BRT has them. On a side note how much room is too much room each side of the fore end on pedestal rest. Do you want a tight fit or a small amount on each side?
