I've purchased a 6mm Creedmoor and was wondering what are the projectiles of choice. Also who stocks what. Has anyone necked down 6.5 CM?

Re: Best 6mm pills
I’ve had excellent results with Copperhead 103gr VLD’s in a 6mm Dasher. Also having promising results with Berger 108gr BT in a 6XC. I have a bunch of 112gr Copperhead VLD’s to try but haven’t had a chance to do any testing with them yet. I believe my Dasher was a 1:8” barrel (been a while) and my 6XC is 1:7.5” so SHOULD be ok with pills up to 115’s although I have no intention of going that heavy.

One of the easiest bullets to get working well is the Berger 108gr BT - Only problem is there is no stock in Australia at the moment. 105gr berger hybrids and VLDs are also very popular but again, they don't last long when in stock. Couldn't get the Copperheads to work in my 6mm rifle but plenty of others have had excellent success with them.

I have ended up going to the Copperheads. I use the 103s in my 6BRA, 6Dasher and 6x47, but use the 95gn Copperhead in my 6BR. The Fly shooters and 1000yd BR shooters like the 103 Copperheads as well. Good ballistics, very uniform and seem to like some jump, so don't need jamming.

Yes, sadly we are still waiting for Berger 108's. Down to my last 200. I am getting Lapua Scenar L's next week to try in my new Dasher barrel. Anyone had any success with these? I really like these in 180gn in my 7mm.

Yeah I bought a couple of thousand - BC isn't the best but they're consistent and pretty easy to tune. If they don't like a slight jam, try a 10-15 thou jump.

What about the new Sierra 107’s with the uniformed tips?? How do they compare BC wise and tuning compared to the Berger 105 Hybrid.
I am happy with the hybrid and have 1400 on the shelf at the moment however looking for other alternatives to use in a club shoot or practise and keep the Berger’s for bigger events.

I have some of the old non-pointed Sierras and they're not as consistent in my experience - still a decent bullet but you probably need to sort them.
