My guess is that the sky would cave in if such an event were to be held.
Seriously (if that's possible ) I'd love to see bisley matches during our queens/prize shoots

Great to see more 15 shot matches ,maybe 20 shot matches are far away .
Bisley style is something we should be practising at club level so it won't be too much of a jump .
Sounds good even though I have never shot bisley style
yet !

Bisley shooting is more of a challenge, in my opinion.
No waiting for conditions or fast shooting in a good patch.
Almost a sighter each shot if conditions are variable.
Most enjoyable.

John,
I think Rick wanted the Hunt format.
I'm actually interested to find out whether there will be a 900m. There was a poll last year on the subject. For reasons unknown they didn't reveal the results at that time. It seems that for the Queens at least, no 900. Would be good to know the reason why.

There was a vote on 900m in 2009. The outcome was go for it: the result in 2010 & since was no 900.

That's surprising. I'm tempted to run a poll here. It might throw some light on how F-Class shooters would vote on this...

I don't think you'll see the inclusion of 900m for another 20 years. I mean the format has been radically changed to include 5 extra shots at not 1 but 2 600m ranges!! You better cool your progressive thinking heels if you think there would be a 900m and Bisley style in the near future! Haha
All jokes aside I don't think 900m would have been too well received in the original October time slot but now the new date is offering fairer weather it would be feasible.
I think squadding becomes very important at lower light at the longer ranges. It can be extremely calm first thing with great light early but soon gets interesting for the last shooters down. Having the opportunity to shoot first at 8-900m is a much bigger advantage than shooting first at 300. Shooting 7-8-9 only, lessens the advantage of shooting first as the "short" range isn't much different to the long range.
So squadding and long range with bisley as needed is the way forward

i just don't get it,on one hand everybody claims that target rifle and f class don't integrate enough and on the other hand you guys want squadding so you can get a better score, buggered if i know.
