The ability of Australian law enforcement authorities to eliminate gun-related violence in the community, was an event that was held in June of last year. The results were meant to be published in Oct but due to the overwhelming number of entries and scores that exceeded those thought possible (the vast majority of the information provided really didn't support the preconceived belief) the reporting date was pushed back a full 5 months.
Today (D Day) another extension was requested!
I'm not really one for political activism, but I'm none too keen on giving public servants a free pass on issues I feel are important.
If any of you feel the same, please feel free to drop a polite email to
legcon.sen@aph.gov.au
asking where the report is.
At least that way they will be aware that people are looking.
