How about if the short range aggregate was shot Bisley style and the long range aggregate is run string fire?
This will give some shooters some practice at Bisley style shooting at the short (maybe easier??) ranges, as well as providing something different, a novelty in the mid ranges which everyone gets to shoot so often?

Hi Rod and everyone,

Sure I am up for Bisley. This event is for the F Class community. It would mean a little bit of education with everyone regarding the rules and time limits, but as you have mentioned, it would be a ideal time leading into 2017.

Dave - The feedback from Vortex is that this is what the "Tactical" style of shooter want, but you are correct, a lot are not setup for it. Short barrels etc. To me this is where we need to get the formula right, as I see it as way to grow the sport and attract the younger members of the community to the sport.

Alan - We are going to approach the MDRA regarding the possibility of running a small competition on the Saturday afternoon. They have just had the MDRA AGM so we wanted to wait until the new Chairman had a chance to settle in before approaching them. Electronic targets are currently operating at Belmont and will be in use for F Class only. By the end of the year there will be 36 ET's at Belmont I believe.

Kind Regards,

Craig.

Hi John,

No the meet had to be cancelled. We are hoping that it will be rescheduled as soon as Goran returns from a business trip.

Kind Regards.

Craig.

Hello Craig.

The only Goran I've heard of is the bloke who beat Pat Rafter at Wimbledon.

Hi John.

Simple answer. No. Not at this stage. I am still in the U.S. at the moment. When I get back next week I will jump online to explain more.

Kind Regards

Craig.
