Going on what we have seen and heard online, it has to be under 0.25 moa, surely.
I will be expecting to hear about vertical that makes Julie's flat line with the Dasher look positively B Grade

Extreme accuracy and precision shooting at long range can be a very addictive pastime.

I never said Julies vertical was B grade I said that not all the shots were in the centre when the OP said they were. The centre is the X ring ( the .1) not the 6 ring.
Re: WA open
No Bindi - The Original Post was all about her waterline. One phrase you put your own interpretation onto ("This is a close up of the 9 shots in the middle.") and tried to belittle the whole thing. He never said the shots were in the centre just that this was a close up of the middle. You tried to twist it about shooting in the x ring and took no account for the conditions of the day and paid little attention to what he was saying. Tony never mentioned Julie got a perfect x count.
You also bragged with the following "I will also add that type of water line is not uncommon where I shoot in all F Classes".
We are all waiting for some proof of these claims. Don't talk the talk unless you can walk the walk.
So please post photos of all the best shooters targets in all F classes - It doesn't have to be from the open but from "where you shoot"
A 60.10 can be shot with 0.5minutes of vertical and those that I have seen have used nearly all the x. You cannot compare a 60.10 shot in calm conditions (or in fact any conditions) to the original posters comment of how good a waterline this was. That was comparing apples with oranges.

I have spent more than a little time rereading the post in Question and I think you should as well.
Re: WA open
Maybe you should ask others on the forum how they interpreted it Bindi??? Especially the original poster. I can read it no other way. If it was interpreted by others differently to my interpretation then I will publicly apologise. If not (and you meant it differently) then maybe you could consider the same??

Re: Waterline
That could only be called a mate counting exercise.
I went to a lot of trouble to collect the required data for a 60.10 ten shots fired (2013) when a 60.10 +60.9 = 120.19 (2014) was fired (same day same shooter same range) which was not allowed under the rules (OK) but the ensuring debate it caused (one comment made unjustly I thought was it wont exist until it happens over there first) the 60.10 shooter whose opinion of the ES is lower than his shadow said don't so I stopped. No pictures of Australian records or waterlines I just don't want to be involved in that sort of debate again I enjoy my shooting to much. I don't take pictures of my own efforts and never have. I have shot a 60.7 and not come second or got a medal, that's shooting.

Re: Waterline
As the Original poster, I have to say that I am strongly of the same opinion as DaveMc.
Unfortunately the one I was looking for wasn't in Alans "Smilies" so I couldn't use it. It would have featured a moving hand.
Julie is not my sister/daughter/cousin or any sort of a relative. She is a competitor, and a friend, and lives about 300 klm west of me. She and her husband are warm, friendly and generous people, as well as being popular and highly respected by everyone whom I have ever met in this sport of ours. They also happen to be proud Gold Medallists from the 2013 FCWC and just like all of the other Members of that winning Team, are easily two of the best performed shooters on the planet.
I posted the photo of Julies waterline for two simple reasons.
1) I personally thought that the vertical displayed, given the conditions, was simply bloody amazing. This was a range where some very respected and highly performed shooters got absolutely smashed, and Julie was second for the range, dropping 3 points, shooting a rifle that had been completely built from scratch by her husband in his own workshop, and was having its first OPM outing. And it was a 6mm, when a lot of us shot 7mms
2) I thought that the many friends of Julie and Cameron in the shooting world, both here and internationally, would also enjoy seeing a photo of the target, and would appreciate that "this vertical" was something really special. Going on the responses from everyone other than Bindi, I think I was correct.
I saw Bindi's post as an attempt to belittle the final result/score/target, and my posting. I also took comments that followed to be bragging, and like a few others will look forward to seeing photographic proof of just how you do it yourself.
I have to go and reload now, because myself a a heap of others will be trying to whup her butt tomorrow at a Memorial shoot at Gatton. Having shooters in our region of the calibre of Julie McEwan lifts the standard of our entire sport and inspires any sane person to try harder to do better, and to go those extra few steps at any opportunity that might help you to score more X's. If anyone happens to be good enough on the day to beat her, I can guarantee you that she will be one of the very first to congratulate the winner and place getters, as she has done at every OPM or Queens that i have been at from the very first day I met her.
Tony

Re: Waterline
Ok , Julie is the country's best lady shooter in her class at the moment ( I'm biased! And Jenni H of course . Sorry Jen!) Cam 2 time Natianal champ and between them several 2nds and 3rd at national level. Between them , at any OPM they either win it or place, nearly every time. Cam last year in the teams event was the top scoring shot in the world on the Day on his first attempt at the Title !
I'm lucky to call them my mentors ( my range Mum and Dad) and club mates. Julie is always there with a tissue and a sympathic hug and an Allens Snake if a range goes south for Me and Cam, giving advice not to take it so seriously " that range is gone , get the next one, forget about that one!"
Bindi 2 , I don't know if u have shot at North Arm in the hotter months but it makes my Knees knock and I'm sure there's a lot of nations best that go to this OPM would also agree.
Twice this place has destroyed me over 3 years . Managed to come back but I was scared poopless especially the second day. This is the worst the 500,600,600 and at times just unreadable with all of the flags pointing at each other and mirage saying something else ! Just look at the score card in F open and Standard and look at the names that had a shocker on both days ( I nearly lost my A grade in one day and first shoot at that in A grade), especially the second Day!
Also the wind was inducing vertical of nearly a minute to minute and a half when it ran towards us at times . I still couldn't see exactly what caused it but just didn't shoot with the wind gusting in my face ! And could be out in the 3 ring left or right in a heart beat if u didn't watch the tips of the flags. In short it was just soup!
Now the reason Tony posted that photo was it was extremely rare on the day. I can only think of another group that showed water line through the whole Ten shots. It was the last 600 yds in the worst of it . It was of Norm C , gemfields RC and had everyone talking ! So that photo that Tony posted was a special thing showing Cams engineering skills and Julie wind reading prowess! All I can Say is book a plane ticket for next years North Arm OPM and experiance it for urself and then you can comment !
