Mossman OPM

While on a family holiday in FNQ last week l was taking the family for a drive looking at Gods backyard. we drove past Cairns Rifle club and l thought well why not give them a call and see if we could join them on Saturday for a shot we didn't have any gear but thought we could use the clubs .Gave them a ring and Trevor from the club informed me that it would be closed on sat because of the the Mossman OPM and they would all be there.O well never mind but after a talk Trevor offered to bring the club rifle to the comp for us fantastic we cant turndown the chance to have a shot.l thought that l might give Liz and Murry Wilson a call we met them while they were on hols in Vic and shot with them at some of the comps down here.So late on a thursday night gave them a call and yes they were going to the comp and leaving in the morning and they would ring around and find some gear for us to use as well.So we arrived on sat and it was all fixed up for us a rifle and after some phone calls that were made late in the night by Mossman rifle club and some Ammo was found as well. We had warm conditions and almost no wind .The Mirage was running at times some good scores were shot and hopefully some one will post them.What a fantastic community we have in this sport and what a fantastic comp Mossman have and the weather was out of this world compered to what we come home to tonight thanks heaps Guys Michael H.
