F Class Open on FB targets

#1 Postby Ken L » Wed Jun 21, 2006 8:46 am

How many F Class Open shooters are interested in going to an OPM where they have to shoot on a FB (FS target) as in the Darwin Queens shoot. I notice that only Peter H shot FO in Darwin.

For me I have decided not to bother spending my precious Petrol $$# traveling to shoots on FB targets. I used to be able to fill up for $40 and have some change now it costs $60 and I have add change to boot.

Comments welcome.

No way.

All scoped rifles should be shot on F Open Targets IMHO

When F Open adopts the international ( ICFRA ) target, maybe we will!

If OPM organises adopt the .5moa white past on centre for the FB target this would be a reasonable compromise.

John,

When ICFRA decides on a target for F-Class maybe F Open will adopt it!

John
I am the ICFRA delegate for FC in Australia. I can't see the target being sorted out in the near future, so we're going to need to make other arangements or leave it like it is.

For those people that might be interested, I shot open in Darwin because I was there, you wern't unfortunately so it was a hollow win for me I can assure you.
I did not know that there would not be others there like the last Qns but I could not take two rifles becaused of the airlines charge you like a wounded bull for over weight luggage.
I feel that maybe it will be the last F O in Darwin as is happening at other prize meets.
