Hi Linda
Saw the team results - great going 2nd overall but the really pleasing one would have been the 1000 yard range win!,
Shane
PS wish we were there!!

Notice some familiar names further up in the leader board.

Thanks for posting the updates Rod. :)

This tour was a blast! We had an absoulute ball.
It was nice to mix with the UK team members and form new friendships. Plus the added bonus of catching up with old friends and making new ones in Ireland.

All my guys were a pleasure to work with. There was not a single issue, and plenty of laughter and banter.

We achieved way more than what was expected of us. We made everyone sit back and go... Hang on...this is not going to be as easy as we thought!
We were beaten by Team USA Red. They had their full A Team against us, and were using two wind coaches to make calls.
We also had a scope failure at 900 which cost us 20 points.

1000 yards we had a strategy that no other team used. I will keep that under my hat to use again at a later match. But when you finish your 1000 yard match, and the USA Coaches James Crofts and Phil Kelley RUN down the range to check your scores... You know you have both done well, and given them a scare.
;)

I would also like to point out that we were a team of just 5 people. 4 our us finished in the top 10 in the individuals. An outstanding percentage ratio for the team.

This tour was exactly what I needed to refresh my drive. I am grateful for the 100% support and backing from all my team members.
Thanks guys. You are all amazing people that did exceptally well in an unusual team situation.

See you on a range somewhere... Anywhere...;)
Linda

Any more pictures from the trip now you are back in the world?

Any talk of any of them coming here for a shoot?

Yep. Will fire up the laptop later and post more photos.

Those that have me on a facebook would have already seen them and followed the match and tour.

The problem we have is what match do we invite international teams to shoot? They are keen, we just don't have a team match for them to compete in.

Seems SHIRT has made it's own standing as an international team, with an invitation arriving this morning for another international tour.

Unless they can be tagged into a National F Class teams shoot, I wonder of Craig could add something onto his F Class Challenge Cup program in the next year or so???

2016 & 2017 the international teams will be focusing on the Worlds.
2018 everyone is broke.
2019 would be a good year, providing you keep it away from the major Bisley F Class shoots- Europeans, the Creedmore Cup and the Narional shoots in the USA.
