For the Fifth year in a row, the Townsville Marksmen Rifle Club will be conducting their stand alone F Class Championships. This F Class Prize Shoot will be conducted midweek 6th; 7th;and 8th June 2006. ranges are from 300m - 900m and amunition required is about 140 rounds. The shoot caters for both F Open, and F Standard. This championship event has paid markers, and attracts up to about thirty five nominations, usually around 50% in each class.
Following this event is the Townsville and District Prize shoot, which is a combined TR and F Class Shoot. This shoot starts on Friday 10th with a 900m Calcutta. followed by 11-12-13th June for the Prize Shoot. F Class also has aggregete prizes over the two shoots.This shoot also requires around 140 rounds of amunition.
Inexpensive Full catering is available for both shoots, and free camping is available with hot showers (etc) on range. This is a unique opertunity to come to North Queensland for a holiday, when our weather is at it's best, and you also get to shoot for seven days straight. It dosn't come much better.
