Chop,
Agreed. Everyone needs to try harder, but first it ( FO ) has to be on the programme.
There seems to be no problem putting C Grade ( TR ) on for less than 5 shooters at most PM's --it's expected there won't be many, but always hoped there will be more.
Treat FO the same -- put it on, cater for 5 or 6, and publicise it well.
With the common target, the excuse that the targets are too expensive no longer applies, and now that FS is competive with FO ( common Target ) could be more FS come across and shoot FO.
This business of " you come and we will put it on " is BS. It should be " we have put it on, now you come "

Well this is interesting!
I can assure you all that putting FO on the programme is of little help, we at Lang Lang have always had FO on the programme, but most years the FO shooters have not supported us, only 3 turned up last year.
From this forum I can only assume that now you all know, we will have a huge number of FO shooters at the Lang Lang OPM on 9th October.

Karramomous - Open Class
I was a little surprised that Open wasn't on the flyer.
Due to the location, I thought there would be a great turn out. However, if history is what the commitee was basing their program on, then fair enough. Clubs need to make it worth their while, for all the effort they put in!
Stawell saw an excellent turnout, with eight of us competing! And quite a high level of competition existed!
I'm going on Saturday, however had set my mind on F Std due to no Open. If there are a few worthy contenders turning up too, then I'll shoot Open.
After all, it's all about the competition, and a great day out!
See you there.
