States Can Enter F Open Teams-Match Rifle Tassie March 2011

The National Match Rifle Teams and Individual Championships are on in Tassie in March 2011

Tasmania is willing to run an Interstate F Open Teams Match during the above event if we can get at least two State Teams to enter. There is also the Individual Match Rifle Event which is open to F Open Competitors as well. (F Standard also, if anyone is mad enough to want to try)

For those unfamiliar with Match Rifle, it is shot over 1000, 1100 and 1200 Yds.

The Australian Match Rifle Championships program is as follows:-

Individual Championships - (Including F Class Open) - Friday 4th to Monday 8th March 2011
State Teams Matches - Monday 7th to Tuesday 8th March 2011

The Tasmanian Queens follows on Thursday 10th to Monday 14th March 2011.

All of this is a bit "play it by ear" and see what interest we can get.
A State F Open Team should be at least 2 members. If you can get a couple of States to enter 3 member teams, we will run with that.

A State may enter more than one team. There will be appropriate recognition, trophies and prizes etc. In March 2010 the weather and wind was perfect for shooting.
