The competition was conducted over 3 ranges 300m, 500m, and 800m
There were 6 DRA’s represented No.1, No2, No.3, No.4&5, No.6, and No.11
With 5 person teams 1 & 2 had a mixed FS & FO team and the rest were FS only
The targets we used were standard Full bore targets with a modified centre.
The modified centre was used as the 6 ring for FO and the V ring scored as 6 for FS
Everybody had a great day and the wind was very kind by Lower Light standards.
I was great to see so many DRA’s represented.
The Riverland team were almost entirely made up of one family well done Loxton
No 6 DRA bolted from the blocks with a AGG at 300m of 290 followed by No. 4&5 =283 /No.3 =273/No.1 =264 /No.2 =246/No.11=241
No. 2 and 6 DRA drew for 1st place at 500m with AGG of 265 so it was going to be close at the last range 800m
The No.3 DRA took out the AGG at 800m with 263 followed by No.6 with 255 (BTW No. 3 DRA could not field a TR team so they but together a 5 X TR shooters to compete in The F-Class competition and nearly stole it well done No. 3
