Also tenting it.
Arrive tomorrow when it’s supposed to be pissing down
In Kiama at the moment and it’s just starting now.

Re: NSW Queens
Day 1 turned out to be good generally with a constant breeze off the ocean, I think 4 of the open shooters didn’t drop a point.
The wind was gusting at times which caught the rest of us out
Tomorrow we are starting at 800m in the hope we get at least 1 range in.
The feed at the RSL tonight hit the spot
Here’s hoping my tent holds up during the predicted monsoon tomorrow

Re: NSW Queens
Day 2 of the lead up was WET
Most braved the conditions and we got 2 ranges in the drizzle before a brief gap in the rain then down it came again.
Congrats to the winners
Day 1 of the Queen’s looks none too flash with wind and rain predicted(and happening now 6am)
I feel sorry for those stuck in their rooms while I have the real experience of current conditions in my tent ⛺️
I’m thinking today might be a highlights of Sydney day but I’ve already been to safari firearms and I don’t think there’s much more worth looking at...

For me the tent experience is maybe unpleasant but doable
But for others it can be rather unpleasant
I think he may have abandoned ship

At 7.30am with wind gusts at 50kmh blowing rain into our faces, the wise decision was made to reassess at 10.30am

Poor buggers...conditions in Sydney are horrible today, I'll be surprised if you get a shoot in today.

Re: NSW Queens
Friday turned out to be a dud with rain and more rain.
Day 2 of the Queen’s started out with some rain which didn’t last long and we got to shoot 2x 700 and 1x 800 which was done as a 15 shot for time sake
Mr Hollywood had the paparazzi following him around.
4 corners were doing a report on diversity in our sport, focussing on women and youth.
Hopefully it will be a good bit of PR for us
Day 3 looks promising as it’s only overcast at the moment and I can hear the flag poles rattling from inside the club house!

Jeeze, any other time 4 corners has been chasing me with a camera, my lawyers were always trying to hide my face with a newspaper while yelling no comment.

Re: NSW Queens
It is 8.00am and the lucky buggers who get to shoot first will have flags which aren’t moving. They are all stretched out to the max. The rain is horizontal as we get ready to start. I’m told it will be 2x10 shot strings instead of 15 shots as the TR shooters took 4 hrs to do a 15 shot stage yesterday so we would run out of time.
