PSECO 6.5x47 Lapua

Just after my 68th birthday I figured I would give myself a new rifle after all I deserved one. Im not married, kids left home, so no one to give me lots of reasons, poop, about why I should "not another rifle!!!!" not have one. Just my conscience. No I did not need another rifle I just felt the urge. I shoot F class and yes I have 2 x .222s that shoot sub 3/4" moa to 300 yards on a still day and 2 x 308's, will do the same for a lot longer range so I do not need another target rifle. Also a few other hunting rifles that shoot sub 1". I think most of you know the urge.
After a few discussions with John Giles as PSECO we decided on a 6.5x47 Lapua. It arrived last week. Looks great.
Stiller action, Lidja 1.8" twist 28" barrel, Vias Muzzle brake, Mcmillan Thumbhole stock, jewel trigger.
I have not shot it yet but if it shoots as well as my current rifles I will be happy.

What did John Giles build for you?
