My Quiver

#1 Postby Gadget » Sat Dec 31, 2011 8:03 am

Hi All,
The range's must be closed so I'm shooting photos instead of my F Open toy's.
Bughole barrel clamp alloy stock, switch rig in .243ai,.260ai,7mm Rsaum
Barnard P actions with NF 12x42's
Note:- left hand action's but I shoot right handed, this is an incredibly comfortable way to shoot
22BR in a Mek tube stock, sweet 300 to 600 mt gun 80g VLD's @3200 fps

Graham,

I presume most of them will be coming to the NSW Queens? Did Les Rozsnyai make the top one?

Hi
Allan, yes its one of Les's stocks, and yep they are booked in for the Queens.

Bruce,
The scope is a $100 Zos 10 x 40 x 50 and the thing is great.
I picked it up second hand just to put on a gun that I was selling to make it look good, it never made it on to that gun. but the joke is I got a pair of them for the $100.
So I lent one to a new shooter for a few month's, he gave it back and brought a new one off Ebay he liked it so much.
Its got a mill dot ret thats OK but the dam thing tracks like a NF or Weaver but I only go to 37 power with it.
I would have never never brought one of these things if not for the bargain of the century, do I recommend them No, do they work Yes, and I just love the irony of getting up of the mound having shot a 99 with a $50 scope
Graham
P.S. did you see the size of the ring's on the Zos there Leatherwood's and weigh nearly three quarters of a kilo #-o and cost a hell of a lot more than the scope LOL

Another lefty right hand shooter. I just had a budget 308 built up which is a left/left action in a RH stock.
This new rifle needs a scope. Where do you get the scope you are talking about?

Rod - look em up on Ebay ZOS 10-40. We just put one through the ringer on a collimator and tracked perfectly to the 1/8 minute right through the range. Held a perfect point of aim through all zoom and focus movements as well. The reticle I have is 1 moa spaced dots at 40 power which is also a great call.
Fals a little behind optically (but usable) but I have heard of a few of these with great lenses. (Peter Smith has several! if that doesn't say a lot I don't know what does) I do not know how they will handle recoil yet but I am putting one on my 308 as well (switch scope with hunting one) and will find out over time I guess.

ps nice quiver Graham

Cheers,
Dave

Hi Graham, it was great to meet you at the Queens. I thought these rifles looked familiar.

Hi Ben
LOL
You tend to remember theses stocks when you have seen one.
I enjoyed myself so much at the NSW Queens I think I will go to the VRA Queens in a few week's.
Catch you next time
Graham
